Eight days till I leave, folks! You'll be surprised to hear I actually started packing today. This is truly an astounding and unprecedented (for me, anyway) level of preparedness.
I went shopping today, for a few new items to wear overseas. My favourite purchase (let it be noted: this blog shall use British spelling henceforth!) is a Victorinox daypack. I feel very secure having a backpack manufactured by the same people who make Swiss Army knives.
Still to do:
Register student ID card
finish packing
get adaptor for computer plug
read up on Ireland a bit more
send pre-departure form to NMU
all that other stuff I can't remember right now
